LucyBalu x Hanna Krüger – The taboo topic of death

In cooperation with the well-known designer Hanna Krüger, we decided to tackle this difficult topic together. Hanna Krüger, who has worked for Rosenthal amongst others, inspired us with her work and her experimental, conceptual, but also reduced style. There are many urns for animals on the market already. As Hanna Krüger perfectly said herself though,

"...we have made it our goal to design a small piece of jewellery that does justice to the mourning process and its significance and yet at the same time remains discreet and preserves something quiet."

Grieving – Saying goodbye - Remembering

Once you are ready after the active mourning phase, the ash contained in the wooden core of the urn, can be buried. Thus you can symbolically say goodbye to your loved one. The beautiful memories of your loved one should be preserved even after the funeral. The porcelain part of the urn therefore finds its place in the home as a stylish vase. The high-quality, black packaging can also be used to store mementos, such as a favorite blanket.
