Was muss ich beim TREVI beachten?

Eine rote LED-Leuchte zeigt dir einen zu niedrigen Wasserstand an. Lasse den Brunnen niemals ohne Wasser oder bei zu geringem Wasserstand laufen. Ziehe den Netzstecker vor der Wartung und Reinigung des Brunnens und achte darauf, dass dieser nicht nass wird.Bei besonders kalkhaltigem Wasser empfehlen wir dir, kein Leitungswasser zu verwenden oder dieses zu entkalken (z.B. mit Britta Wasserfilter). Damit vermeidest du Kalkablagerungen.

Wie gewöhne ich meine Katze an den Trinkbrunnen?

Die Pumpe ist quasi geräuschlos, man hört lediglich ein leises Wasserplätschern. Schreckhafte Tiere scheuen sich anfangs aber vielleicht trotzdem vor dem neuen Trinkbrunnen.Hast du einen ängstlichen Stubentiger, kannst du Leckerlis um den Brunnen verteilen und deine Katze loben, wenn sie sich dem Brunnen nähert.

Wie reinige ich den Katzenbrunnen?

Pumpe und Filter solltest du wöchentlich mit Wasser und Essigessenz reinigen - bei mehreren Tieren in entsprechend kürzeren Abständen.Wechsle das Wasser mindestens alle drei Tage.Der Filter der Pumpe sollte alle zwei Monate gewechselt werden. in der Lieferung sind bereits 12 Ersatzfilter enthalten für die ersten 24 Monate. Die Keramikteile kannst du in der Spülmaschine reinigen. Die Pumpe natürlich nicht.

Your cat prefers to drink flowing water rather than stagnant water. However, cats often only have one drinking bowl available. That is why most cats drink too little. The result is too little passing of urine, which means that the urinary tract is cleaned less often and more urinary stones are formed. This can be very painful! The TREVI cat fountain will encourage your cat to drink enough water and thus promote the health of your cat.

What do I have to watch out for while using TREVI?

The red LED light indicates that the water level is too low. Never run the fountain without water or when the water level is too low.
Unplug the fountain before cleaning and make sure the power plug does not get wet.
If the water contains lime, we recommend that you decalcify the water beforehand (e.g. with a Britta water filter). This prevents limescale deposits.

How do I get my cat used to the drinking fountain?

The pump is virtually noiseless, all you hear is a gentle splatter. However, timid animals may still shy away from the new drinking fountain at first.
If you have a timid cat, you can place treats around the fountain and reward your cat when it approaches the fountain.

How do I clean the cat fountain?

You should clean the pump and filter weekly with water and vinegar essence - with several animals at correspondingly shorter intervals.
Change the water at least every three days.
The filter of the pump should be changed every two months. The delivery already includes 12 replacement filters for the first 24 months.
You can clean the ceramic parts in the dishwasher. The pump, of course, is not dishwasher safe.

Wie hoch ist der Stromverbrauch?

Selbst wenn TREVI ein ganzes Jahr am Stück durchlaufen würde, so ist der Stromverbrauch minimal. Dieser liegt bei 0,25Wh bzw. hochgerechnet auf ein ganzes Jahr 2,19 kWh. Bei einem Strompreis von 40 Cent pro kWh (das entspricht dem Strompreisdeckel während der Ukraine-Krise) liegen die Stromkosten mit 87,6 Cent unter 1 Euro pro Jahr.

Lautlos; hochwertig; super schön

Der Brunnen arbeitet komplett lautlos. Die Reinigung ist denkbar einfach und unkompliziert im Vergleich zu anderen, sehr unhandlichen und schweren Keramikbrunnen. Außerdem sieht er mega schick aus und die Kater haben ihn direkt angenommen.
Seit 2 Wochen im Dauerbetrieb - alles prima!

Ich würde ihn sofort wieder kaufen! Er ist sein defibitiv Geld wert!
